Menstrual Health Awareness for Women (CPD Accredited)

Duration:1 Day

Format: Delivered at your organisation

Suitable for: All Women and those assigned female at birth (AFAB)

Research has shown that issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders and self-harm are on the increase, and disproportionately so in younger women. Women are twice as likely to be diagnosed with anxiety disorders than men. In addition, there is a direct link between menstrual and mental health, yet many women are unaware of this.

This workshop helps women to understand how hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle and menopause transition can affect mental health and wellbeing. We also provide information on Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) - a relatively unknown, yet serious condition, which affects one in 20 women.

Managing the Menopause Workshop (CPD Accredited)

Suitable for: All Women and AFAB

Menopause matters. It is a life changing and transformative event for women which can affect their work performance, their mental and physical health.

This workshop provides employees with a valuable opportunity to learn about the menopause, discuss their concerns, find out what help is available and to have their questions answered by experts.

I worked for years in banking, which was a very male dominated environment, and I never told my managers that I was off due to horrendous period pain. They would not have understood at all, so I would have to invent reasons month after month and soldier on. Or I would dose myself up and try and get through the day best I could, then collapse when I got home.
