Why Does Menopause in the Workplace Matter?

By 2020 it is estimated that 1 in 3 British workers will be over 50. This means that more women than ever before will experience the menopause at work. Studies have shown that menopause symptoms can have a significant impact on attendance and performance in the workplace. Worryingly, two thirds of women going through menopause say they have no support at work. 25% of women have considered leaving work because of their experiences (2016 Wellbeing of Women survey).

 

Menopause Awareness Training

In this workshop, we delve into the nitty gritty of menopause. With more focus on symptoms, this workshop is targeted at female employees. Expect to cover:

·     What might I experience at different stages of the menopause?

·     What is early menopause?

·     How might the menopause affect me at work?

·     What can I do to help with symptoms at work?

This workshop covers information that may be especially useful to members of your HR department. Expect to cover:
